Dangers of Vaping – Are They Much like Conventional Cigarettes?

The medical dangers of vaping aren’t known at all. The dangers of Vaporizing cannabis aren’t just limited to those who are using it recreationally either. Children are now showing a heightened interest in trying Vaporized cannabis as well, according to a report published in May 2021 in the peer-reviewed Journal of Adolescent Health. This study was done by the National Institute of Mental Health, which is a government agency within the US Department of Education. Researchers examined the smoking behaviors of twenty-three children, including ten who smoked cigarettes regularly and fifteen who did not smoke at all. It was found that even children who were only occasional marijuana smokers were ready to try vaporizing cannabis. Interestingly, this study didn’t consider the long-term effects of E-Cigs on these children’s long-term smoking habits, only their short-term ones.

Overall, it would appear that the dangers of E-Cigs are just about exactly what one would expect from combustible cigarette smoking. The only real difference is that instead of inhaling toxic gases, smoke is established in an E-Cig, instead of blowing out of a traditional cigarette. The largest dangers of E-Cigs are from vaporizing toxins in your lungs rather than from actual combustion.
